St. Patrick's Day parade held in London

LONDON, UK - MARCH 17, 2024: St. Patrick’s Day parade was held with great interest in the UK, London on Sunday (March 17). As is the custom every year, Irish bands were enjoyed by the festival audience. London Mayor Sadiq Khan also attended the festival. The date marks the saint's death. Patrick died in 461 in Saul, County Down. He is buried in the grounds of Down Cathedral in Downpatrick, County Down. The first St Patrick’s Day parade actually took place in Boston in the United States in 1737.
