KTLA – Los Angeles, CA, U.S. - Masked man speaking out during a protest for justice for slain Army specialist Vanessa Guillen at the LA Air Force Base. Investigators say she was bludgeoned to death at the Fort Hood Army Base in Texas. Her remains were found last week, about 24 miles away. Her family believes Guillen was sexually harassed by her accused killer, Aaron Robinson, and was planning to file a complaint against him just one day before her murder. Now her family and their supporters are calling on Congress to pass the "I am Vanessa Guillen" bill, which would mandate the creation of a third party entity where military members could report sexual assault and harassment without fear of retaliation.
