Video: Historic railway viaduct with train, crossing German Autobahn A4 (between Chemnitz-Mitte and Chemnitz-Glösa, Saxony) - 4K stock video

The Bahrebachmühlen-Viaduct is a brick railway arch bridge that was built near the village of Borna as part of the Leipzig–Chemnitz railway in Saxony/ Germany, from 1868 to 1871. For the 6-lane expansion of the Autobahn A 4 between Chemnitz-Mitte and Chemnitz-Glösa, the lower parts of three pillars of the historic bridge were removed from year 1999 to 2003, and replaced with two tunnel-passages, each providing space for the new larger highway. The historic viaduct with the modern Autobahn-tunnel is a technical monument and a local landmark.
