GORGAN, IRAN - JUNE 26: Farmers in the Golestan province of Iran have started to plant rice in the fields as the harvesting will begin in 3 months. After dealing with wheat and potato, the farmers have accelerated the rice planting process, in which the women plant rice seeds in the rice fields while the men prepare for the first harvest.Rice planting in Golestan typically begins in late spring or early summer, around May or June, depending on the weather conditions and water availability. The rice harvesting season in Golestan takes place in early autumn, around September or October.Farmers harvest the rice by cutting the matured rice plants and drying them in the fields or in designated areas to reduce moisture content.
