BEIJING, CHINA - NOVEMBER 19: (COMPILATION) Athletes warm up on November 19, 2021 in Beijing, China. The 2021-2022 Luge World Cup kicked off at the National Sliding Center in Yanqing District of Beijing on Friday, with participation of athletes from 27 countries and regions. The event is the first stop of the International Luge Federation's 2021-2022 competition season. It is also the first time that China holds a luge World Cup event, with athletes competing in four events, the men's and women's single luge, pair luge and team luge relay.
