In one of the prayer rooms at Padre Pio Chapel in Quezon City, a replica of Padre Pio's body is displayed, mirroring its presentation at the Saint Pio Shrine in Italy. Padre Pio, also known as Pio of Pietrelcina, was an Italian Capuchin friar, priest, stigmatist, and mystic. Recognized as a saint in the Catholic Church, his celebration takes place on 23 September. Having joined the Capuchins at the age of fifteen, Pio spent the majority of his religious life at the convent of San Giovanni Rotondo.
