A Young Migrant Who Has Arrived In Ceuta On A Child's Float Is Intercepted

CEUTA, SPAIN- MARCH 05: A young Moroccan man being intercepted by Guardia Civil officers on the Chorrillo esplanade of Juan XXIII beach, on March, 5, 2021 in Ceuta, Spain. Wearing a wetsuit and with the help of a children's inflatable float, a young Moroccan from the town of Castillejos (Fnideq) has managed to dodge the easterly swell to reach the small sandy area near the Juan XXIII beach in Ceuta. Once on land, after 13:30 hours, he was intercepted by the Guardia Civil and attended to by the ERIE of the Red Cross. The young man showed very slight symptoms of hypothermia, with shivering and cold, but was able to recover from the effort and the rough seas once on land.
