West Germany Demonstration Against Nuclear Weapons
(Original Caption) The big debate in West Germany these days is whether or not the armed forces should be equipped with nuclear weapons. Chancellor Konrad Adenauer's administration is in favor. But the opposition, the Social Democratic Party, is bitterly opposed. This dramatic poster formed the background as Erich Ollenhauer(left), Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, addressed a giant rally in Frankfurt. The poster screams, "Atomic Energy? No!"
