HMS Waterwitch Off Tolo Harbour
Royal Navy ship HMS Waterwitch anchored off Tolo Harbour, Hong Kong, HMS Waterwitch was built in 1878 as a private vessel originally named 'Lancashire Witch' and given as a gift to Lillie Langtry, mistress to the Prince of Wales. In 1893 it was purchased by The Admiralty, renamed 'Waterwitch' and given the rating of sloop survey vessel, sinking in 1912 after a collision in Singapore, Picture taken 17th April, 1902.
