India's first high-tech solar car 'RAY' unveiled in Kashmir
SRINAGAR, JAMMU AND KASHMIR -FEBRUARY 10: India's first high-tech solar car 'RAY' is seen in Srinagar, India-administered state of Jammu and Kashmir on February 10, 2025. A 45-year-old mathematics teacher Bilal Ahmad Mir has become the first person to develop this solar powered car. Bilal stated that he began working on this project in 2012 with the first prototype unveiled in 2022, he further added spending more than 20 lakh rupees and naming this car 'Ray' inspired by the mathematical concept where a ray has a starting point but no end.
