Sarabjit Singh's Family Meets With SM Krishna

Krishna has assured the family that India will raise the issue of his release during foreign secretary level talks next month. Sarabjit Singh was given the death sentence in 1991 after his alleged involvement in bomb blasts in Lahore and Multan in 1990 killing 14 people. His prison release was ordered on June 26,2012 but later this was rescinded after a mix up and another prisoner Surjeet Singh was released instead.
