The Rebel Cats, who are quite a success among followers of rockabilly in Mexico, was formed in 2005 by Vincent Van Rock, his son Vincent Monster, and Wolf, and are represented by Van Rock's wife. The music genre rockabilly was originated in the early and mid 50's in southern US and is basically a mixture of rock and roll, rhythm and blues and hillbilly, also known as country music, with Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent and Elvis Presley being some of the style's pioneers.
