He holds the trishula (trident) in his upper right and lower left hands, the damaru (hourglass shaped drum) in his lower right and the mriga (gazelle) in his upper left hand. He is clad in a tiger skin almost concealed behind an elegantly patterned shawl draped over his elbows. Gajasura wears conspicuous head and ear ornaments.
