Congress Continues Debate On The Parity Bill

The Plenary of the Congress has met this week to hold the debate of the entirety of the Organic Bill of Equal Representation and balanced presence of women and men. During the plenary session, they have debated the amendment to the totality of VOX against the draft organic law of parity that considers ''ideological'', a process that from the Government they expect to follow its parliamentary channel. The law aims to ensure parity in public and private decision-making bodies and therefore requires that no sex has a weight of less than 40% in the management and the board of companies, within the Government, in the electoral candidacies and in the bodies of constitutional relevance.
