Government Backs Reopening Of Doncaster Sheffield Airport

The first passenger flights could take off from a newly-reopened Doncaster Sheffield Airport by spring 2026 with the backing of the government. Doncaster Council are planning to invest £100millioin of public money into running the airport and say ongoing negotiations could be completed before the end of the year.
