Appalacian Mountain Club Struggles During Pandemic

The Appalachian Mountain Club is facing one of its most difficult years in memory, hit by challenges including the loss of revenue from the backcountry huts it closed for the season. And that means the organization has fewer resources to carry out its quiet job of maintaining the infrastructure used by the tens of thousands of people who traverse the mountain trails each year.
