Princess Diana visits friend Carolyn Bartholmew, former flatmate, in London, Wednesday 10th June 1992. Carolyn Bartholmew contributed to a controversial book about Diana's marriage. Carolyn told how Diana suffered from the slimming disease bulimia nervosa and her desperate unhappiness. But the princess gave her seal of approval to her friend with a kiss. Diana clearly told the world: 'I approve of everything she has done.' The Press was tipped off so they could witness last night's emotional scene.
