Victory Day is an official and national holiday celebrated on August 30th every year in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to commemorate the Great Offensive, which ended in victory under Ataturk's command in Dumlupnar on August 30th, 1922. On the 102nd anniversary of the victory, the Turkish army gathered in front of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) and organised a march to Ulus, where the former Turkish Grand National Assembly was located.
