Manila, PHILIPPINES: Filipina maid Janet Alianga (C) is offloaded on a stretcher, 08 August 2006, from a chartered commercial jet at Manila's airport on her arrival from Lebanon. Alianga was one of four Filipina maids who plunged from their employer's apartment windows in Lebanon over the past month, in separate incidents which left two dead and two others injured. The Philippines is trying to evacuate some 30,000 other Filipino workers from Lebanon to escape the fighting between Israel and the Hezbollah militia.
