An agent of the regional directorate for Food, Agriculture and Forest (DRAAF) takes part in tree sampling operations following the detection of a pine wood nematode, a worm Bursaphelenchus xylophilus microscopic and dangerous for conifers, which blocks the flow of sap and causes the rapid death of the trees it infests, in Seignosse, southwestern France on November 5, 2025.
