Salem admitted he distributed Saddam's money to Palestinian families of "martyrs" of the Intifadah. Each family of a martyr, killed by Israelis or died as a suicide bomber, received $10,000, family members of the severely wounded family received $1,000 dollars and a little wounded received $500 dollars.
