Türkiye and Morocco sign agreements on energy and mining

RABAT, MOROCCO - JUNE 27: Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar met Leila Benali, the Moroccan Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development in Rabat on Thursday (June 27). Deputy Minister Ahmet Berat Conkar, Directorate General for Foreign Relations and European Union Ozturk Selvitop, Directorate General for Petroleum Pipeline Corporation Abdulvahit Fida, Directorate General for Eti Maden Yalcin Aydin and Directorate General for Turkish Petroleum (TPAO) Ahmet Turkoglu were also in attendance. Following the one-on-one meeting between the ministers, an inter-committee meeting addressed bilateral projects encompassing natural gas, critical minerals, renewable energy, energy efficiency, electrical interconnection, hydrogen, and oil exploration.
