The first rollout of an NHS COVID19 smartphone app starts in Isle of Wight

VOICED: The first rollout of an NHS COVID19 smartphone app, starts on the Isle of Wight today. The system traces when people come into contact with each other, so that if anyone later tests positive for the virus, an alert can be sent out to their friends and relatives. NHS workers will start using the system today, and it will be available to anyone on the island later this week.
