RUSHES: Theatre: Sir Ian McKellen and Toheeb Jimoh interview

Theatre: Sir Ian McKellen and Toheeb Jimoh interview; Part 7 of 7 ENGLAND: INT Sir Ian McKellen (Actor) and Toheeb Jimoh (Actor) interview SOT Q: YOU'VE (MCKELLEN) NOT GOT A BAD BACK CATALOGUE HAVE YOU - (Jimoh) I think he's done alright, and I think there's more to come if I'm honest / I hope we get another one together / didn't you say we were going to do a film of this - (McKellen) A film of this - (Jimoh) Of these plays I mean - (McKellen) It's been done before you know to ally the two plays, because it's a continuous story, but it's got a more satisfying end if you see Part 2 as well as Part 1 because you find out what happens to this relationship / it's rather touching to me that a very famous production that did both the plays took place in this theatre where we are now with Sir Ralph Richardson playing Falstaff and Laurence Olivier playing two parts, that we're doing it on that same stage / theatre ghosts Q: I EXPECT ONE DAY IAN YOU WILL BE A THEATRE GHOST - (McKellen) Oh will I, come back and haunt (laughs) - (Jimoh) One hundred per cent - (McKellen) I've started preparing for that by recently signing the dressing room that I vacate, just putting my name and a date and what I was in / because I think wouldn't it be lovely if you went into the dressing room, the previous actors who'd used the room had signed it Q: YOU WALK IN AND YOU'D GO 'WHY HAS HE GOT THESE OLD DVDS OF TED LASSO' (Both laugh).
