Oshozu is a spring in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, in Japan's Hokuriku region. It is situated in the Kasamai residential district. The spring is fenced off with a stone wall, and flows into a shallow, manmade, triangular pond measuring about 8 m across and 12 cm deep. It is a source of water for farmers and is used by the local residents for washing and cooking. It is also a place for the locals to relax; attracting children in the summer. The city has numerous springs, which feed more than 50 aqueducts.
