Russian team neutralize missiles and submunitions after Ukrainian shelling in Crimea
SEVASTOPOL, CRIMEA, UKRAINE (AUGUST 2, 2024) (EDITORIAL USE ONLY – MANDATORY CREDIT - ' RUSSIAN MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS / HANDOUT' - DO NOT OBSTRUCT LOGO - NO MARKETING, NO RESALES, NO ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS) On Friday, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations released new footage showing the successful detonation of a warhead and submunitions from a recent missile strike.
In a statement, the ministry confirmed that the warhead and submunitions from the missile strike, launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, have been neutralized.
Pyrotechnicians have cleared Sevastopol’s streets of explosive devices that fell following the missile attack on the night of August 2nd.
Residents evacuated from these areas are now returning to their homes.
Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev reported via his Telegram channel that all immediate consequences of the UAF shelling in Sevastopol’s major residential areas have been addressed.
