Brush Fire in New Jersey

No one knows how a brushfire started sometime around 2:30 PM on Saturday. New Jersey forest fire service was in charge of the scene as a back up local fire department volunteers from both Mizpah and Franklin Township. Firefighters fought fire with fire today as they as they quickly burnt the area surrounding the over 1 acre fire. This age old process burns and leaves nothing for the progressing fire to continue with. I arrived on the scene at 3:10 and local fire departments begin leaving the scene around 3:40 PM today.
