DUBLIN, IRELAND - JULY 19, 2024: A major Microsoft IT outage affected airports, airlines, businesses, media outlets, and stock exchanges worldwide on Friday (July 19).Flight disruptions occurred at Dublin Airport in Ireland.Anadolu tried to reach CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity technology company. Still, the answering machine said the company "is aware of reports of crashes" and directed people to the website to report further issues.The outage also impacted stock exchange services worldwide, according to media reports.Separately, Crowdstrike President George Kurtz said on X that the company “is actively working with customers impacted by a defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts.”“Mac and Linux hosts are not impacted.
