Turkish president Erdogan sings 'victory song' to supporters

ANKARA, TURKIYE - MAY 28: Claiming victory in Sunday's historic runoff elections, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan celebrated the results with his supporters by singing a song written for himself. Thousands of people who gathered at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara also chanted the song whose lyrics said "We love him very much" in reference to the president. Erdogan addressed his supporters and stressed that all of Türkiye and its democracy won in the elections. "We are not the only winners. Türkiye is the winner. Our nation with all its segments is the winner. Our democracy is the winner," Erdogan said, addressing thousands of his supporters gathered in front of the presidential complex in the capital Ankara. "No one has lost today. All 85 million have won ... It is now time to unite and integrate around our national goals and national dreams, leaving aside all the debates and conflicts regarding the election period," he added.
