This drummer is part of a grup called Colla Gegantera, a group of people who have custody and take Giants to parades and major festivals. The group gathers the giants, whether they are carriers, musicians or accompanists. A Giant is a figure representing a very large cardboard structure into which a person can stick themselves and parade in processions and parades. It is traditional in Catalonia.
