This chest x-ray shows an elderly smoker who has a large left apical (upper lobe) tumor found to be lung cancer. The x-ray also shows a mouth with dental fillings, kyphotic curvature of the thoracic spine due to osteoporosis and multiple vertebral compression fractures (likely related to smoking) and destruction of the lungs (emphysema) from smoking.
