BRITAIN-CULTURE-VINTAGE FESTIVAL

Women in wartime clothing pretend to stand on the lead singer of 1980s punk band "Spizzenergi" as the band performs on the second day of "Vintage at Southbank Centre" in central London on 30 July 2011. The event is a three-day party, celebrating the 1920s to the 1980s. The six levels of the Southbank Centre have been transformed into different areas where, over 13 hours per day, pass holders can 'learn the dances', enjoy a retro makeover, enjoy live performances from classic acts, exclusive DJ sets, catwalk shows, wonderfully conceived food and cocktails and a wide selection of vintage retailers.
