William Gibson - Science Fiction Writer
William Gibson, American-Canadian sci-fi writer, circa April 2003. Gibson is known for pioneering the subgenre known as cyberpunk. He began his writing career in the late 1970s, often writing about the effects of technology and computers on humans in books such as Neuromancer (1984).
