Western Australia's Hard Border Restrictions Ease To Allow Interstate Travel
PERTH, AUSTRALIA - NOVEMBER 14: West Australian cricket player Hilton Cartwright has his G2G pass verified by a police officer after arriving from Adelaide on Qantas flight QF889 at Perth Airport on November 14, 2020 in Perth, Australia. Western Australia's hard border transitioned to a controlled interstate border as of 12:01 on Saturday, with travellers from Queensland, South Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania and the ACT now permitted to enter the state. People arriving from Victoria and New South Wales will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days and take a COVID-19 test on day 11, while all other travellers will be required to undergo a health screening and temperature check on arrival and declare they haven't come from Victoria or NSW. Travel arrangements also need to be registered on the G2G Pass app. (Photo by Paul Kane/Getty Images)
