An O2 mobile phone store is seen on Oxfo

LONDON, United Kingdom: An O2 mobile phone store is seen on Oxford Street in London 31 October 2005. The Spanish Telecom company Telefonica is to pay GBP17.7bn ($31.6bn) for the British phone company O2 in order to get a foothold in two of Europe's largest mobile phone markets - the UK and Germany.
