Bolivia's Glaciers Hard Hit By Global Warming

The tropical glaciers in the Andes of Bolivia are particularly sensitive to climate change. The melting and retreat of permafrost, snow cover and glacier mass in high mountain regions also raises concerns about water resources in the La Paz and El Alto region.
