The Caledonians wore a garment without sleeves, which fell to the middle of the thigh, left the chest bare, and was tied with a belt, from which were hung a sword and shield (14).' 'The women wore a garment without sleeves, a little shorter than the men's; they left their breasts entirely exposed. They were armed, just like the men (15).
