HONDURAS-CRIME-GANGS-SCHOOLS
A teacher gives a lesson at the Maximiliano Sagastume school in Sagastume, a neighborhood on the north side of Tegucigalpa, on March 17, 2017.
A shoot-out between members of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) and the "Combo que no se Deja" gangs left one teacher and four students injured when shrapnel penetrated the roof of one of the classrooms at the school in Sagastume. Thousands of members of the MS-13, Barrio 18 and other gangs control neighborhoods in the main cities of Honduras, where they frequently exchange fire in turf wars for territory in the drug and weapons trades. / AFP PHOTO / ORLANDO SIERRA / TO GO WITH AFP STORY BY NOE LEIVA (Photo credit should read ORLANDO SIERRA/AFP via Getty Images)
