Protestors and MET Police officers clash during a rally in support of pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action after British government announced the group's ban, in Trafalgar Square, in central London, on June 23, 2025. British interior minister Yvette Cooper announced on June 23, 2025 that she will ban campaign group Palestine Action, after its activists broke into the UK's largest air force base last week. Cooper said the vandalism of two aeroplanes at RAF Brize Norton in southern England on June 20 was "disgraceful" and the group had a "long history of unacceptable criminal damage".
