BRITAIN-RUBENS-SOTHEBY'S
Photographers photograph George Gordon, Sotheby's Senior Old Masters Paintings specialist as he inspects 28 February 2002 "The Massacre of the Innocents" by Sir Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640) at Sotheby's in London. The unknown early work by Rubens painted between 1609 and 1611, is one of the most significant Old Masters picture discoveries to be offered at auction for decades and the greatest Rubens to come to the market for more than 20 years. It is estimated at £ 4 to £ 6 million. AFP PHOTO / Odd ANDERSEN (Photo by ODD ANDERSEN / AFP) (Photo by ODD ANDERSEN/AFP via Getty Images)
