Buffett Foundation has been providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine since the early days of the war, helping to avert the food crisis and supporting several security and conflict mitigation initiatives. Howard Buffett, Chairman and CEO of the Foundation, visited Ukraine six times during the war, and has directed more than $227 million in aid to the country since February 2022. The Foundation's decision to become a donor to Superhumans comes from the realization that the need for quality prosthetics services inside the country is already huge and continues to grow.
