Paul Getty at a rare news conference at his stately home, Sutter Place, said 4/19 that he did not think the US could have gotten into Vietnam and Cambodia but once it did it was obliged to aid the escape of those who helped it. Getty announced at the press conference that he was donating for a second year 50,000 dollars to the individual deemed to have done the best towards saving wildlife.
