LAHORE, PUNJAB, PAKISTAN - 2015/08/11: Pakistani water suppliers are collecting water from the canal near Lahore, before supplying them to the citizens. Due to the excessive use of aquifer, it is feared that the city could face a severe dearth of potable water by 2020, says a senior official of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA). The official said that WASA was pumping out around 360 million gallons of water against the demand of about 800 million gallons per day. He said WASA had to install more tube-wells to overcome the shortage of 440 million gallons of water. (Photo by Rana Sajid Hussain/Pacific Press/LightRocket via Getty Images)
