The Great Exhibition of The North

The Great Exhibition of the North is an 80-day long programme of exhibits, live performances, displays of innovation, new artworks and experiences. It aims to tell the story of the North of England and how its innovators, businesses, artists and designers have shaped the present and inspire the future in the North. The three-month programme of events begins on 22 June and runs until 9 September and key highlights include three trails starting from the Great North Museum, the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and the Sage Gateshead and which then lead the visitor through 30 venues and public spaces on either side of the River Tyne.
