MEXICO CITY, MEXICO: Lucio Rendon (L), Salvador Ordonez (C) and Jesus Vidana wave during a press conference at the airport of Mexico City, 25 August 2006. Three Mexican fishermen who spent nine months adrift in the Pacific before being rescued near the Marshall Islands arrived in Mexico City on Friday. After a short layover of just a few hours, the men were scheduled to take another flight home to their families around midday. The fishermen returned to dry land on Tuesday. All three were smiling and relaxed in fresh clothes as they arrived in Majuro, the capital of the Marshall Islands, aboard the Taiwanese fishing boat that plucked them to safety two weeks ago.
