London, UNITED KINGDOM: British Labour Party nominees John McDonnell (R) and Michael Meacher (L) address a press conference in Westminster, in central London, 14 May 2007. Nominations officially opened Monday for the election to succeed Tony Blair as Labour Party leader, as one of the two potential challengers to his most likely successor agreed to stand aside.
