(Original Caption) Shelburne, Vt.: Leonhard Seppala and his dog Togo pictured shortly before their 300 mile dog sled trip to Nome, Alaska in 1925. Togo was lead dog on the team which carried a life-saving diptheria serum to Nome. The dogs mounted and stuffed remains were discovered at the Shelburne Museum and are being returned this weekend to Alaska.
