Joseph Chamberlain

Joseph Chamberlain (8 July 1836 – 2 July 1914). He was an influential British politician and statesman. Unlike most major politicians of the time, he was a self-made businessman and had not attended Oxford or Cambridge University. He moved to Birmingham where he became a prominent industrialist, its most famous ever Mayor. He was father of both Austin Chamberlain and the Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain.
