The Mojito is a cocktail that contains rum, sugar, Hierba Buena (a mint derivate) and water. In Cuba the rum Havana Club is being used. The brand Havana Club is the centre of a legal dispute between the US on one side and Cuba and French Pernot Ricard, who hold the rights, on the other side. The Mojito was one of Ernest Hemingway�s favourite cocktails. He used to drink his Mojito in the Bodeguita del Medio, while he drank his Daiquiri in the Floridita bar. Between 1939 and 1960, the American writer and journalist lived for many years in Cuba.
