Bucky, M.D., F.A.C.S., injects Botox into the face of Betsy Rubenstone, 50, from the Philadelphia area, April 18, 2002 at the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Center at the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. When injected into facial muscles Botox or botulinum toxin eliminates wrinkles by weakening or paralyzing the muscles which keeps them from contracting. The effect lasted for up to three months.
